Three Colors of Wedding Rings
A wedding ring is a pair of plain gold or platinum bands, given during the wedding ceremony by the groom or bride to his or her future spouse. It is also known as a wedding band. It is a sign of commitment between two people that band them to eternity. The rings symbolized a promise that will never fade as the married couple live together. It is usually purchased by the couple on a jewelry shop but mostly, they made their own design to make it unique from others.
Wedding rings are normally made of gold. Gold is the most popular metal used for an engagement rings and wedding rings nowadays and throughout the history. It’s because of its beauty, quality and durability that really last. The gold ring has three colors which are the yellow, rose and white.
Yellow gold is the most common color of wedding ring. Its alloy of gold usually combined with copper, silver, and zinc. White gold is an alloy of gold combined with silver, nickel, palladium or zinc. White gold is not “white”, but rather a “whiter” gold than yellow gold. Rose (pink) gold is an alloy of gold and copper. The saturation of color varies from piece to piece and according to gold content.
